- 500 g minced steak
- 1 cup fresh breadcrumbs
- 1/3 cup tomato paste
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano leaves
- oil for shallow frying
- 2L chicken stock
- 2 onions, chopped
- 2 potatoes, diced
- 2 carrots, diced
- 1/2 cup pasta e fagioli
- 1 Cup shelled peas
- 1 x 310 g can red kidney beans, drained

Step 1. Combine mince:
Combine Breadcrumbs, tomato paste, oregano and mince Until It’s smooth.
Roll heaped teaspoonfuls of mixture into balls.
Step 2. Frying:
Heat oil in a frying pan. Add meatballs and fry gently on all sides until golden brown and cooked. Drain cooked meatballs on absorbent paper.
Step 3. Stock:
Combine stock, onion, potato, and carrot in the pan and bring to boil.
Add pasta e fagioli, cover, and simmer for 10 minutes or until vegetables and pasta e fagioli are tender.
Step 4. Meatball:
Add meatballs and kidney beans. Simmer for 5 minutes.
